Though she is new to Boulder, Bonnie Luftig is no stranger to Colorado. A native New Yorker, she fell in love with the Rockies years ago. Bonnie lived in Telluride for 13 years, where she had a successful career in operations management and large-scale event production, which included serving as Director of Operations and Marketing for the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival. Since then, she has lived on both coasts, and helped in production and marketing for nationally recognized lifestyle events including the Wanderlust Festival, the Nike+ Human Race, and the Telluride Film Festival.
A “non-denominational” yoga practitioner, Bonnie’s practice any given week might include Vinyasa, Forest, Bhakti, and yin yoga. She’s grateful for numerous opportunities to learn from master teachers and holds a particularly soft spot in her heart for Saul David Raye, Seane Corn, and Elena Brower. Bonnie has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and is a certified kids’ yoga teacher. She is also an active volunteer for the Boulder-based Wellness Initiative, which brings yoga to youth in low-income schools.
Bonnie fell in love with Boulder for the mountains, the vibrant yoga community, the foodie culture, and the focus on conscious and sustainable living. When she is not on the mat, you can find her hiking Sanitas, munching on kale chips, and gathering with good friends.
Bonnie is available for short and long-term contract work in event production, project management, and marketing. To learn more about Bonnie’s background and services, visit her website.
